Andrew Freeman completed an outstanding academic career at Kasson School and then Philip Barbour High School when he graduated with the Class of 1998. Among his many stellar accomplishments at PBHS were compiling a cumulative 4.0 GPA while taking a rigorous curriculum, and attaining a rare perfect ACT score of 36 in mathematics, placing him in the top one percent nationally.
“Andy” then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he majored in Biology and Chemistry. He continued his education in graduate studies at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, where he graduated in 2006. Mr. Freeman went on to become a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist.
During his professional career to date, Dr. Freeman has served as Medical Director and Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. He is a current faculty member and Radiation Oncologist for OHIOHEALTH in Columbus, Ohio. At the time of his induction, Andy resided in the Columbus area with his wife, the former Devon Smith (PBHS Class of 1998) and their two children, Eli and Isla.
